Case History – AWA Services

Making A Spectacularly Disjointed Group of Loosely-Connected Businesses Appear To Be A Highly Efficient, Modern, Integrated Enterprise

Late last century, AWA Services (the relatively unprofitable electronics and computer servicing division of the once-mighty AWA Corporation), was in desperate need of a make-over for its public face.

Admittedly, AWA Services’ many branches had great promise. If only they could be seen as acting in concert, their potential as a provider of integrated computer services would be far more credible to their potential customers.

The Write Stuff’s brief in creating a new corporate brochure for AWA Services was simply to make the Services Division appear up-to-date and streamlined.

We achieved far more. Simply by carefully emphasising the one thing that theoretically linked all AWA’s divisions – their interconnection via the “AWARE” Customer Response computer system, we completely changed the market’s perception of AWA Services’ abilities.

The brochure used a “networked” theme throughout that was calculated to present a unified prospect to service and maintenance contract customers. The promise was that a contracted organisation would instantly have AWA’s widely disparate basket of computer services at their fingertips – all co-ordinated seamlessly by the AWARE system.
